Birthday Weekend

Yesterday was my second birthday, but we had my party on Saturday and boy did I have a good time. I had family and some close family friends come over to my house for food and fun. One of my friends let me borrow his blow-up jumper, which all of the kids really enjoyed. I also got lots of cool presents and had some yummy cake. Then yesterday I went to church and got to go to my Sunday School class with all of the other 2 and 3 year olds. Then I went to Olive Garden for lunch with my grandpa and grandma Landin, Uncle Joey, and my daddy and mommy. I got to get a pizza kids meal which I ate almost all of. I was really tired after all that food so I of course took a very good nap before going back to church to play in the nursery with mommy. After church my daddy and mommy brought me home and I ate some food and got some birthday cake. Before I forget I have a few pictures to post of my birthday weekend.

A Little Party

The past two weeks I have been going to spend the day with my Aunt Kayla while my mommy and daddy went to work. I had so much fun, but I am glad that I have been home with my mommy this week. We are getting the house ready for my party this weekend, but yesterday we took a little break to go to reading time at the library and then to have lunch with Gwenie and Sarah at Aunt Kayla's house. Since Sarah is not coming to my party this weekend my mommy took cupcakes for us to eat after lunch. They even sang "Happy Birthday". My mommy has a few pictures on her phone, but she has not had time to put them on the computer yet so I will have her do that and post them next time along with my two year picture that I had taken the other day. I think that is all for now. I will have more to talk about next week.

Enjoying a Root Beer Float

Every year since my mommy and daddy have known each other they have went to Rose Hulman for what they call the "Un"kegger which is sponsored by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship on campus. They serve root beer from what else, a keg and root beer floats. Yesterday, mommy took me and we met daddy there since he was running sound for the band. When we got there I went to visit my Aunt B since she was just upstairs from where the thing was at work and then I got to enjoy a root beer float. I, of course, insisted on feeding myself which was a little messy. It sure was good though. During and after enjoying my first float, yes he had two, daddy took some pictures of me. I have a few to share.

I also got to enjoy some Noble Roman's pizza while I was on campus, which was my first college dining experience. It was pretty tasty, if I do say so myself.

The Last Weekend of Summer

This past weekend I got to do a lot of fun summer things. On Saturday my mommy and I went swimming at the lake with my meme, aunt Kayla, Gwenie, and Max. I had a lot of fun and was a little sad when we had to leave. Then on Sunday I went to breakfast with mommy and daddy before daddy left for Casey, IL and mommy and I went swimming again. This time we went swimming at Shakamak with meme, papa, my aunt B, my aunt Kayla, uncle Jared, Gwenie, and Max. I was very excited about getting to go one last time. I was very brave at the pool and was "swimming" around in the baby pool. I also went down the slide by myself. My aunt Kayla caught me since mommy waited with me at the top. She wished she would have gotten a picture of me coming down the slide. I only did it once so there was not a chance to get one later.
Yesterday I went to the Casey Popcorn Festival with my mommy and daddy so that my daddy could so sound for the band that was playing, which he did all weekend. I had a lot of fun and my mommy even let me ride a carnival ride all by myself. She was right outside the gate taking pictures and waiting for me. I chose to ride the train and here are a few pictures of me enjoying myself.

Since it was so hot mommy and I went shopping for a little while and when we came back daddy had some free time so we went over to the playground. I went down a few slides and daddy pushed me on the swings.

Today it was back to work for mommy so I guess my summer fun is officially over.
