My Day in Indy

I know I am a little behind, but I've been one busy little boy. Anyway, a couple weekends ago my mommy and daddy took me with them to Indy to see some of daddy's college friends and then I got to go swimming with the rest of my mommy's family at Splash Island. I really had a good time there. The 22 month picture to the right is one of me playing by the rail in the baby pool. I think there are a few on our family blog too so I will save time and not put them on my blog. After we left the pool we all went to Chuck E. Cheese, which is really fun too. My cousins hadn't been there before so it was fun showing them the cool rides and playing. I do have a few pictures of me and my cousins having some fun on the rides.

VBS (Vacation Bible School)

This past week I got to got to my first VBS at our church. It was supposed to be for 3 year olds and up, but the lady who was in charge of it told my mommy to bring my anyway. Of course my mommy stayed with me all week to help me do the crafts and to help my teachers with the other 29 kids. I had a really good time listening to the stories about Jesus being our rock, having '50s themed soda shop snacks, and doing crafts that went along with the theme (The 50's: Going to the Rock). I have a couple of pictures of me and my cousin, Gwen who I invited to come to VBS with me.

Random Summer Pictures

This post is just a lot of activities we have done this summer that my daddy had pictures of on his phone and just put on the computer the other night. First is a picture of me on the big swings at Deming park. My mommy and daddy took me there one evening after my daddy got home from work.

Then there were a few pictures from when we went to Fort Wayne to visit my grandpa and grandma Landin and my uncle Joe over Memorial Day weekend. My mommy and daddy took me to the mall where they have a two-story carousel and my daddy took me on a ride. I wanted to ride on the top level, but was somehow talked into riding on the bottom level. It was fun anyway!

This is a picture of me and my daddy on the carousal. After we left the mall we went to a park by the local zoo. I played for a while and then we went for a little walk before leaving to go back to the house. On our way home from Ft. Wayne my mommy and daddy decided to stop in downtown Indy for a little break in the drive so we ate dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory and then for a walk around the circle. I like to climb the steps of the monument. My daddy and mommy took a few pictures of me this time. I seem to be posing in this one.












Since we had a lot of rain this summer we have had a lot of standing water as well and one of my friends and I decided we liked to play in the puddles by his house after church one Wednesday night and we ended up sliding into the puddles and loving every minute of it.

I have had a very busy summer and this is not all I have done this summer just a few pictures I had not yet shared. Check back in a few days and I will post some more recent summer pictures.

A Day at the Pool

This summer I have gotten to go swimming a few times at the lake and a few times at Shakamak. I do not have any pictures from the lake, hopefully next time we go I will have some pictures to share. I do have a few pictures of me at the pool. I went with my mommy, Meme, Aunt Kayla, cousins Gwenie and Max, and some family friends.
This is me in the kiddie pool. I liked playing in this pool as well as in the big pool.
My meme got us a few toys to take to play with. I got a green elephant watering can and Gwenie got a purple one. Our friend Addie has a pink elephant so she was helping us too. Once we figured out what to do with them we all did a lot of watering. We watered the pool, the concrete, and we finally found some flowers to water outside the fence. This is us watering the flowers.
